The lyric repertoire presented so far is extremely
vast, it spaces from “Il ballo delle Ingrate” by Claudio Monteverdi
to contemporary productions. Owing to the quality, accuracy and
reliability of the engagements carried out, both under the artistic
and managerial point of view, C.I.A.L.M.
is one of the most accredited Italian companies in this field. From
1984 onwards, mainly thanks to its legal representative and artistic
director, Claudio Pugliese, C.I.A.L.M. has the merit of helping
debut and affirm some of today’s most famous opera artists, such
as Anna Caterina Antonacci, who played the role of Rosina in a production
of “Il barbiere di Siviglia” for the municipality of Arezzo in 1987, the baritone
Angelo Veccia, who played the role of Figaro at Adria in 1989, Giusy
Devinu, a wonderful Lucia in Lucca in 1985, Roberto Alagna, for
his Italian debut in the role of Alfredo for a beautiful production
of Traviata with Giusy Devinu, in Adria in September 1990, well
before his triumphant debut at the Scala of Milan in the same role;
M° Daniele Gatti for his debut in the field of opera music, conducting
Puccini’s “Gianni Schicchi” and “Rabarbaro Rabarbara” by Ghedini
in 1986; M° Giuliano Carella, in many productions between 1989 and
1993, but also Lucia Mazzaria, Roberto Servile,
Bruno Praticò, Alfonso Antoniozzi and many others.
This very important role in promoting young talents
did not prevent collaboration with the already famous stars of the
world of opera, such us: Katia Ricciarelli, Raina Kabaivanska, Carlo
Bergonzi, Josè Carreras, Piero Cappuccilli, Leo Nucci, etc. Always
working at the highest levels has established C.I.A.L.M. one of
the most accredited Italian companies in this field.
